In the present context, attempts are being made to distort history by various political and religious organizations. An undeclared ban has been imposed on writing and speaking history as it has happened. The emotional interpretation is being done by making history emotional, In such a situation, it has become necessary to present the subject of history in an objective manner. Teaching of Political science is essential in the world's largest democratic country like India. Antonio Gramsci says that the aim of education should be to develop political consciousness among individuals' In the present context, as the educated class is moving away from politics, it has become difficult to imagine clean politics and effective democracy. In this book, an attempt has been made to present the various concepts of history and political science teaching in a succinct manner. In the sixth unit in this book, general understanding of the subject of history, teaching history, methods and aids of teaching history, in the seventh unit, general understanding of the subject of political science, methods and teaching aids, in the eighth unit, assessment for learning in social science, in the ninth unit, the analysis of textbooks and question papers of various boards, in the tenth unit, the inter-disciplinarity of various subjects of social science and the project work has been highlighted.
